Need advice on whether?

The vintage kitchen canister set that i just got is air tight enough? Its a metal set. Just metal…no rubber seal like they have today. Any advice is appreciated.

I would guess it is not if there’s no seal on it. If you need airtight storage I’d not rely on those. I bet they’re very cool though, so do display them if they fit in with your general kitchen motif. Just don’t use them for anything that needs airtight storage or for anything acidic and/or that could corrode the metal.
